For the Crust
- 15 Nutter Butter Cookies, crushed finely into crumbs
- 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter, melted
For the Filling
- 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened to room temperature
- 3/4 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
- 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 (8 oz) Container Cool Whip
- 10 Miniature Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, quartered
Toppings
- 10 Miniature Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, quartered
- 1/2 cup Reese's Pieces candies
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: Crush the Nutter Butter cookies using a food processor or place them in a ziplock bag and crush with a rolling pin until finely ground. Combine the cookie crumbs with melted unsalted butter and press the mixture evenly into an 11-inch pie plate to form the crust.
- Make the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and creamy peanut butter using a hand mixer until smooth and creamy. If a hand mixer is not available, mix vigorously with a spoon until well combined. Then, add powdered sugar and mix until fully incorporated and creamy.
- Incorporate Cool Whip and Reese’s Cups: Gently fold in the Cool Whip until the mixture is well blended and light. Stir in the quartered miniature Reese’s peanut butter cups evenly throughout the filling.
- Assemble the Pie: Spread the peanut butter filling evenly over the prepared crust in the pie plate.
- Chill the Pie: Refrigerate the pie for about 30 minutes to set the filling.
- Add Toppings and Serve: Before serving, top the pie with the remaining quartered miniature Reese’s peanut butter cups and Reese’s Pieces candies. Keep chilled until ready to serve.
Notes
- For best results, ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to room temperature before mixing to avoid lumps.
- You can substitute Reese’s peanut butter cups with other peanut butter candies if desired.
- If you prefer a firmer crust, refrigerate the crust for 10 minutes before adding the filling.
- This pie is best served within 2-3 days and should be stored in the refrigerator.
- Feel free to customize the toppings with chopped peanuts or chocolate drizzle for extra texture and flavor.
