Description

These Smash Burger Tacos are a fun twist on traditional tacos, featuring seasoned ground beef smashed onto flour tortillas and topped with a creamy 321 sauce, fresh lettuce, onions, pickles, and sesame seeds. Perfect for a quick and delicious meal!


Ingredients

For the Tacos:

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 4 flour tortillas (Fajita size)
  • 1 tsp Seasoning Salt or Taco Seasoning
  • 4 slices American cheese

For Toppings:

  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup dill pickles, diced
  • Toasted sesame seeds

For 321 Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

Instructions

  1. Divide and Press: Divide the ground beef into 4 portions. Press each portion onto a tortilla, spreading to the edges. Season with seasoning.
  2. Prepare Toppings: Shred half of the lettuce, dice onion and pickles, and place them in separate bowls.
  3. Make 321 Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard. Set aside.
  4. Cook the Tacos: In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the tortillas meat side down for 4 minutes. Check for doneness, then flip, add cheese, cover, and let sit for 1 minute.
