- 1 shake red pepper flakes
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
For the Stir Fry:
- 1 tbsp (15ml) olive oil
- 1 white onion, sliced in half moons
- 1 lb (450g) frozen shrimp, tails on (defrosted)
- 2 cups (300g) broccoli florets
Instructions
- Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and minced garlic. Set aside.
- Cook the Onions: Heat olive oil in a sauté pan. Add sliced onions, season with salt and pepper, and cook until soft and fragrant.
- Cook the Shrimp and Broccoli: Add the shrimp to the pan and cook until just turning pink. Then, add the broccoli, cover, and cook for 5 minutes until the broccoli is fork-tender and bright green.
- Finish the Stir Fry: Pour the sauce over the shrimp and broccoli, and cook for an additional minute. Serve hot.
