Description

These Peanut Butter Blondies are a chewy, decadent treat, packed with peanut butter flavor and studded with Reese’s Pieces. The rich, buttery blondies are easy to make and perfect for peanut butter lovers, offering a sweet and satisfying dessert.


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup (170g) unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 2 cups (400g) packed light or dark brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup (190g) creamy peanut butter
  • 2 large eggs + 1 extra egg yolk
  • 1 Tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour (spooned & leveled)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 and 1/4 cups (about 260g) Reese’s Pieces

Instructions

  1. Prepare Pan: Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang.
  2. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and brown sugar. Whisk in peanut butter, eggs, egg yolk, and vanilla.
  3. Add Dry Ingredients: Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Fold into the batter.
  4. Add Reese’s Pieces: Fold in Reese’s Pieces. Spread into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake: Bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. Cool: Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan.
  7. Cut and Serve: Lift the bars out of the pan and cut into squares.
  8. Store: Cover leftover bars and store at room temperature for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • Use creamy, processed peanut butter for best results.
  • Blondies can be frozen for up to 3 months.
  • Do not over bake.
