- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
- Layer the potatoes: Place the frozen hash brown potatoes in the bottom of your slow cooker. If needed, you can use cooking spray or a liner bag to prevent sticking.
- Add vegetables: Place the chopped onion and peppers on top of the potatoes to create a colorful base.
- Layer the sausage and cheese: Next, layer the cooked and crumbled turkey sausage in the crock pot and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Prepare the egg mixture: In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and remaining seasonings (kosher salt, black pepper, ground mustard, garlic powder, and optional red pepper flakes).
- Combine and cook: Pour the egg mixture evenly over the other ingredients in the slow cooker. Put the lid on and cook for 8-9 hours on low.
- Serve and enjoy: Once cooked, serve the casserole with your desired toppings and enjoy a delicious, easy breakfast!
