Ingredients

Units Scale

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients:

  • 1 1/3 cup Nutella
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Mix-ins:

  • 1/2 cup mini eggs, chopped

Instructions

Preheat the Oven & Prepare the Pan
Preheat your oven to 325˚F (163˚C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, making sure the edges hang over the sides for easy removal later.

Combine the Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour and salt. Set this mixture aside until needed.

Mix the Wet Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, beat together the Nutella, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and eggs until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Incorporate Dry Ingredients and Butter
Gradually alternate between adding the dry ingredients and melted butter into the Nutella mixture. Mix slowly until fully combined to form a thick, smooth batter.

Fold in Mini Eggs
Gently fold the chopped mini eggs into the batter to distribute them evenly.

Bake the Brownies
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan, spreading it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with only a few moist crumbs.

Cool & Serve
Remove the brownie pan from the oven and let it cool for about an hour at room temperature. Then slice into squares and enjoy these rich, chocolatey brownies!

Notes

  • These brownies are best stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
  • If preferred, add extra mini eggs on top of the batter before baking for a decorative touch.
  • For a slightly gooey texture, bake the brownies for 50 minutes. If you prefer them more solid, aim for 55 minutes or until fully set.
  • Using a serrated or sharp knife will result in cleaner brownie slices.
  • Optional add-ins include crushed nuts or chocolate chips for extra texture.
