Description

Lucky Charms Treats are a delightful, no-bake dessert perfect for any occasion. These sweet and chewy bars combine crispy Lucky Charms cereal with gooey melted marshmallows for a nostalgic, kid-friendly treat that adults love too. Simple to make with just three ingredients, they’re a colorful and whimsical option for parties, snacks, or quick desserts.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 6 Tbsp salted butter
  • 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 5 cups Lucky Charms cereal

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Baking Pan
Line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make it easy to remove the treats later. Set the pan aside for now.
  2. Melt the Butter and Marshmallows
In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter completely. Add the mini marshmallows and stir constantly until they have melted into a smooth and gooey mixture. Be careful to prevent burning by stirring continuously.
  3. Combine with Cereal
Remove the saucepan from heat and quickly add the Lucky Charms cereal. Mix thoroughly until the cereal is evenly coated with the melted marshmallow mixture.
  4. Shape the Treats
Using a silicone spatula, press the marshmallow-coated cereal into the prepared baking pan. Press it down evenly to ensure consistency across each piece. Let the mixture cool completely before handling.
  5. Cut and Serve
Once the mixture has fully cooled, lift it out of the pan using the parchment paper edges. Cut into 16 even squares and serve. Enjoy the colorful and delicious treat!

Notes

  • To make cutting easier, lightly coat your knife with cooking spray or butter.
  • If you prefer less sweetness, use fewer marshmallows, but this may affect the texture.
  • For a festive touch, use seasonal or themed Lucky Charms cereal available during holidays.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. Avoid refrigeration to prevent the bars from becoming too hard.
