Crunchy Hot Cheeto Crumbs:
- 8.5 ounces Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Crunchy, crushed
Flour Mixture:
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Egg Wash:
- 4 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 tablespoon water, room temperature
Cheese Sticks:
- 12 (1 ounce) mozzarella string cheese sticks, cut in half
- Olive oil cooking spray
Garnish:
- 1/4–1/2 cup bottled ranch dressing
Instructions
- Prepare Cheeto Crumbs: Crush Flamin’ Hot Cheetos in a food processor until fine. Transfer to a dish.
- Prepare Coatings: Set up dishes for flour mixture and egg wash.
- Coat Cheese Sticks: Dredge cheese sticks in egg wash, flour, and Cheeto crumbs.
- Freeze: Freeze coated cheese sticks for 50 minutes.
- Air Fry: Spray with olive oil, air fry at 390°F for 5-7 minutes.
- Serve: Plate with ranch dressing for dipping.
