Easy to prepare and perfect for a hassle-free weeknight dinner that delivers hearty flavors and a touch of sweetness.

Ingredients

Scale

Vegetables and Meat

  • 1 Pork Kielbasa, sliced
  • 1 Sweet Potato, chopped
  • 4 Small Potatoes (purple potatoes, Yukon gold, or baby reds preferred), chopped
  • 2 Heads Broccoli, chopped

For Roasting

  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1-2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • Pinch Black Pepper

Honey Garlic Sauce

  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 2 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter
  • 2 Tablespoons Honey
  • 1 ½ Tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 3 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Tablespoon Dijon Mustard (or Stone Ground Mustard)
  • ½ teaspoon Dried Basil
  • ½ teaspoon Dried Oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit to ensure it reaches the correct temperature for roasting.
  2. Prepare Honey Garlic Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, unsalted butter, honey, brown sugar, minced garlic, salt, Dijon mustard, dried basil, and dried oregano until fully combined. Set aside 1-2 tablespoons of this sauce separately for serving.
  3. Season Potatoes: On a baking sheet, spread 1 tablespoon of olive oil and add the chopped sweet and small potatoes. Sprinkle with kosher salt and a pinch of black pepper, then toss them well to coat evenly.
  4. Add Kielbasa and Apply Sauce: Place the sliced pork kielbasa on the baking sheet among the potatoes. Brush the kielbasa generously with the honey garlic sauce, making sure you leave aside 1-2 tablespoons of sauce for later. Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
  5. Prepare Broccoli: While the potatoes and kielbasa bake, drizzle the chopped broccoli with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, and toss to coat.
  6. Add Broccoli and Continue Baking: After the initial 20 minutes, remove the baking sheet from the oven and add the broccoli to the pan. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes or until the broccoli is vibrant green and tender.
  7. Finish and Serve: Remove the sheet pan from the oven. Brush the kielbasa with the reserved honey garlic sauce or drizzle the remaining sauce over all the ingredients for extra flavor. Serve hot and enjoy your wholesome sheet pan meal.

Notes

  • For best potato flavor and texture, use purple potatoes, Yukon gold, or baby red potatoes.
  • Reheat leftovers in a 350 degrees F oven for 10 minutes or until heated through.
  • You can adjust the amount of salt and pepper according to your taste preferences.
  • Make sure to reserve some honey garlic sauce before baking for a fresh drizzle at the end.
