Ingredients

Units Scale

Cream Cheese Filling

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, room temperature (2 bricks)
  • 1.5 ounces Hidden Valley® Original Ranch® Seasoning Mix (1 packet)
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Tortillas & Fillings

  • 5 flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped ham
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onion

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cream Cheese Mixture:
In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, ranch seasoning mix, and shredded sharp cheddar cheese. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  2. Spread the Mixture on Tortillas:
Take one flour tortilla and spread ⅕ of the cream cheese mixture over it in an even layer, about ¼ inch thick. Repeat for all tortillas.
  3. Add Ham and Green Onion:
Sprinkle evenly with finely chopped ham and chopped green onion over each tortilla. Ensure the distribution is even for every roll-up.
  4. Roll the Tortillas:
Roll each tortilla tightly, ensuring that the cream cheese mixture helps seal the tortilla and keeps its shape.
  5. Chill the Roll-Ups:
Place the rolled tortillas in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to chill fully. Chilling helps them hold shape and makes them easier to cut.
  6. Slice and Serve:
Once chilled, cut each rolled tortilla into ½-inch wheels. Arrange on a serving platter and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Yield: This recipe makes about 40-50 roll-ups, serving 10 people with 4-5 roll-ups each.
  • Soften the cream cheese to room temperature for easier mixing. Low-fat or fat-free cream cheese also works.
  • Swap the ham for chopped turkey or chicken for a variation.
  • Sharp cheddar cheese provides a bold flavor, but any type of cheese will work well.
  • Homemade dry ranch seasoning can be used to replace store-bought seasoning for a personal touch.
  • Chill the roll-ups thoroughly for better slicing and serving.
  • Storage: Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
