Description

A festive and creamy Gingerbread Martini combining the warm flavors of gingerbread vodka, Irish cream, coffee liqueur, and spices, rimmed with white chocolate and crushed gingerbread cookies for a perfect holiday cocktail.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Martini

  • 113.4 g gingerbread-flavored vodka
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 56.7 g coffee liqueur
  • 56.7 g Irish cream liqueur
  • 113.4 g half and half or cream
  • Ice cubes (as needed)

For Garnish

  • 1/2 cup whipped cream
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon

For Rim

  • 1/2 cup white chocolate, melted
  • 1 cup gingerbread cookies, crushed

Instructions

  1. Rim the glasses: Melt the white chocolate until smooth. Dip the rims of two martini glasses into the melted white chocolate, then immediately dip them into the crushed gingerbread cookies, rotating the glasses to coat the rims evenly. Set the glasses aside to allow the chocolate to set.
  2. Combine ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, add the gingerbread-flavored vodka, half and half or cream, Irish cream liqueur, coffee liqueur, ground ginger, and a generous amount of ice to chill the mixture thoroughly.
  3. Shake the cocktail: Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds to properly mix and chill all ingredients.
  4. Strain into glasses: Strain the shaken cocktail evenly into the prepared martini glasses, ensuring no ice makes it into the glass.
  5. Add the garnish: Top each cocktail with a generous dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle ground cinnamon over the whipped cream for a festive finishing touch.
  6. Serve immediately: Serve the Gingerbread Martinis right away to enjoy the full flavor and chilled texture.

Notes

  • For a richer martini, use heavy cream instead of half and half.
  • Crushing the gingerbread cookies finely helps the rim coating stick better.
  • You can substitute gingerbread-flavored vodka with vanilla vodka and a little molasses or ginger syrup if unavailable.
  • Chilling the martini glasses beforehand will help keep the cocktail cold longer.
