Description

This one-pot Garlic Parmesan Pasta is a quick and flavorful dish that is perfect for a busy weeknight. Creamy and cheesy, with a hint of garlic, this dish is sure to become a family favorite!


Ingredients

Cheesy Garlic Pasta:

  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • 3 Tablespoons butter, divided
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 8 oz. angel hair pasta
  • Fresh Parsley, to garnish
  • Optional seasonings: 1/4 tsp of each: onion powder, oregano, thyme, parsley, pepper

Instructions

  1. Grate the Parmesan cheese and set it aside to allow it to get to room temperature.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat in a large skillet.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Add the chicken broth and optional seasoning mix. Slowly add the milk, stirring as you do so. Bring to a boil.
  5. Add the pasta noodles. Let the pasta simmer for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low.
  6. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the warm pasta and toss to coat. Gradually sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese, stirring as you do so, until smooth and well-combined.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with garlic bread.
