Dough:

- 4 tbsp melted butter (56 g)
- 2 tsp sea salt (10 g)
- 3 cups all-purpose or bread flour (360 g)
Garlic Butter Topping:
- 3 tbsp melted butter or olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp herbs of your choice
Instructions
- Feed your starter: At least 8-12 hours before mixing the dough.
- Mix the dough: Combine all ingredients in a bowl or stand mixer.
- Knead the dough: On low-medium speed for about ten minutes.
- Rise the dough: Cover and let it rise until almost doubled in size.
- Shape the breadsticks: Divide and roll the dough into sticks.
- Let rise: Cover and let them rise for 1-2 hours.
- Bake: At 400°F for 20 minutes.
- Prepare topping: Mix melted butter, garlic, and herbs.
- Brush on topping: Brush the butter mixture on the breadsticks after baking.
