- 1/2 cup coconut aminos
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Stir Fry
- 1 tbsp avocado oil, or your favorite cooking oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 head of cabbage, thinly sliced – about 8 cups
- 1/2 cup shredded carrot
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Green onion slices and sesame seeds, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Sauce: Combine coconut aminos, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and crushed red pepper flakes in a bowl. Set aside.
- Cook the Stir Fry: Heat avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in ginger and garlic for 1 minute. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon, about 5 minutes. Stir in cabbage, carrots, and the prepared sauce. Cook until the cabbage is wilted and the sauce is cooked down, about 5 minutes.
- Season and Serve: Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Serve the stir fry warm, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
