- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3/4 cup wedding cake creamer
- 2 cups white melting chocolate
- 1 cup pink melting chocolate
- 32 ounces white frosting (two containers)
- Easter sprinkles (optional)
- Coconut oil (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the batter: In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and sugar. In another bowl, mix eggs, vanilla, melted butter, and creamer. Add the wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix until well combined. The mixture should be slightly thicker than cake batter.
- Bake the donuts: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a donut pan with cooking spray. Pour batter into a piping bag and fill each well halfway. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. Cool in the pan for a few minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
- Create bunny feet: Melt white candy melts in the microwave, stirring at one-minute intervals until smooth. Add coconut oil if needed for a smoother consistency. Pipe pairs of ovals onto parchment paper. Let set, then flip over.
- Add pink details: Melt pink melting chocolates and pipe one circle in the middle and three small ones on top of each oval to create paw pads. Allow to set.
- Decorate donuts: Fill a piping bag with white icing and a 1M tip. Pipe icing on top of each donut in a circular motion, then create a “tail” in the center. Place bunny feet on the edge of the bottom of each donut.
- Finish and serve: Optionally decorate half the donuts with bunny feet and half with sprinkles. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Wedding cake creamer can be substituted with regular creamer if needed.
- For best results, ensure donuts are completely cool before decorating.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
