For the Toast
- 1 slice sourdough bread, or any kind of bread you like
- 1 tbsp butter
For the Toppings
- 1.5 tbsp cream cheese
- 1/2 of an avocado
- Pinch of salt
- Dash of red pepper flakes
- Approximately 1 tbsp Mike’s Hot Honey
Instructions
- Toast the Bread: Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Once melted, place the slice of bread in the skillet and toast both sides until golden and crisp, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Spread Cream Cheese: Remove the toasted bread from the skillet. While still warm, evenly spread 1.5 tablespoons of cream cheese over the surface of the bread.
- Prepare Avocado: Using a fork, mash half of a ripe avocado until smooth but still slightly chunky. Spread the mashed avocado evenly on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Season: Sprinkle a pinch of salt and a dash of red pepper flakes over the avocado to add flavor and a hint of spice.
- Drizzle with Hot Honey: Finally, drizzle approximately 1 tablespoon of Mike’s Hot Honey over the entire toast to add a sweet and spicy finish. Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
