  • 1 slice sourdough bread, or any kind of bread you like
  • 1 tbsp butter

For the Toppings

  • 1.5 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1/2 of an avocado
  • Pinch of salt
  • Dash of red pepper flakes
  • Approximately 1 tbsp Mike’s Hot Honey

Instructions

  1. Toast the Bread: Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Once melted, place the slice of bread in the skillet and toast both sides until golden and crisp, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  2. Spread Cream Cheese: Remove the toasted bread from the skillet. While still warm, evenly spread 1.5 tablespoons of cream cheese over the surface of the bread.
  3. Prepare Avocado: Using a fork, mash half of a ripe avocado until smooth but still slightly chunky. Spread the mashed avocado evenly on top of the cream cheese layer.
  4. Season: Sprinkle a pinch of salt and a dash of red pepper flakes over the avocado to add flavor and a hint of spice.
  5. Drizzle with Hot Honey: Finally, drizzle approximately 1 tablespoon of Mike’s Hot Honey over the entire toast to add a sweet and spicy finish. Serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
