- 6 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 (15-ounce) can Rotel tomatoes, undrained
- 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Diced green scallions, for garnish
- Sliced jalapeño, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook Spaghetti: Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook Bacon: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook bacon until browned and crisp (about 7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- Cook Beef and Onion: In the same skillet, cook ground beef and onion until meat is no longer pink and onion is softened.
- Add Garlic: Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add Seasonings: Stir in chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, Rotel tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Combine well.
- Combine Pasta and Bacon: Add cooked spaghetti and bacon to the meat mixture, tossing to combine.
- Add Cheese: Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the noodles and gently toss. Cover and let the cheese melt for about 5 minutes.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with green scallions and jalapeño slices (if using). Serve immediately.
