Description

Enjoy a refreshing Cherry Pie Dirty Soda that combines the sweet and tart flavors of fresh cherries with the unique taste of Dr. Pepper, enhanced by a creamy vanilla foam. This easy-to-make soda-based drink is perfect for a delicious treat on a warm day or as a fun beverage for gatherings.

Ingredients

Units Scale

Fruit

  • 2/3 cup whole cherries, seeds removed, fresh or frozen/thawed

Beverage

  • 2 - 7.5 ounce cans Dr. Pepper
  • 1/2 cup vanilla creamer (Chobani brand or similar)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cherries: Mince the cherries until they are finely chopped enough to easily pass through a straw. Reserve a few spoonfuls of the cherry juice released from chopping and set aside for the foam.
  2. Make the Cherry Vanilla Cold Foam: Using a frother or a smoothie blender, blend the vanilla creamer with the reserved cherry juice to create a thick, creamy but pourable cold foam.
  3. Assemble the Drink: Spoon 4 tablespoons of the minced cherries into the bottom of each glass. Fill each glass with ice cubes until about two-thirds full.
  4. Add Dr. Pepper: Pour the Dr. Pepper into each glass, leaving approximately 2 inches of space at the top for the foam.
  5. Top with Foam and Stir Gently: Carefully spoon the cherry vanilla cold foam on top of each drink. Stir gently to combine, being cautious to avoid agitation that can cause the carbonation to overflow.

Notes

  • For a lower-calorie version, substitute vanilla creamer with cherry vanilla creamer such as Ollipop.
  • Diet Dr. Pepper can be used as a lower-sugar alternative.
