Description

These fun and festive Candy Corn Shot Glasses are perfect for Halloween parties or themed gatherings. Made by layering colorful Candy Melts in a silicone mold to create edible shot glasses, then filled with vodka infused overnight with candy corn for a sweet, unique twist on a classic shot.

Ingredients

Scale

Infused Vodka

  • 2/3 cup vodka
  • 1/3 cup candy corn

Candy Shot Glasses

  • 1 cup Bright White Candy Melts Candy
  • 1 cup Orange Candy Melts Candy
  • 1 cup Yellow Candy Melts Candy

Instructions

  1. Infuse Vodka: Pour the vodka into a resealable container and add the candy corn. Let the mixture stand at room temperature overnight, shaking occasionally to help dissolve the candy corn. Once infused, chill the vodka completely before use.
  2. Melt Candy Melts: Melt the Bright White Candy Melts according to the package instructions, usually by microwaving in short bursts and stirring until smooth.
  3. Form White Candy Layer: Fill a disposable decorating bag with the melted Bright White Candy Melts. Carefully pipe the candy evenly into each cavity of an 8-cavity silicone shot glass mold, avoiding getting candy on the sides of the mold. Allow this layer to set.
  4. Build Orange Layer: Repeat the melting process for the Orange Candy Melts. Pipe the melted orange candy into each mold cavity on top of the white layer, again making sure to avoid the sides. Let this layer set completely.
  5. Build Yellow Layer: Finally, melt the Yellow Candy Melts and pipe them on top of the orange layer in each mold cavity. Refrigerate the mold for about 30 minutes or until the candy shot glasses are completely set and firm.
  6. Remove and Serve: Carefully remove the hardened candy shot glasses from the silicone mold. Fill each with the chilled candy corn infused vodka just before serving for a festive, colorful treat.

Notes

  • Ensure candy melts are fully set before removing from mold to avoid breakage.
  • Use a silicone mold designed for shot glasses for best results and easy removal.
  • Shaking the vodka and candy corn infusion helps speed up dissolution of candy sugars.
  • Store infused vodka in the refrigerator if not serving immediately, and consume within 2-3 days for freshness.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, infuse candy corn in water or juice, though flavor intensity will vary.
